Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work into my craft. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. The drama escalated after media narratives claimed that Sandeep imposed strict rules on Deepika, limiting her convenience as a young mother. Another side of the story reveals that Deepika reportedly demanded a hefty paycheck, a share in profits, and a shorter six-hour call sheet with full payment instead of the standard eight hours. Additionally, she allegedly asked the producer to cover the salaries of her personal team. Due to these demands, the filmmakers decided to drop her from the project.
Since then, Deepika’s PR team has been pushing negative reports about the film and Sandeep’s bold screenplay.
