As the 22nd edition of the Confederate of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit is set to conclude in Visakhapatnam today, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu is looking to sign investment proposals close to Rs.5 lakh crore from over 100 MoUs.
The 3-day partnership summit has been organised to showcase investment opportunities in ‘Sunrise Andhra Pradesh’ and Chandrababu gave priority to the tourism sector and creating employment opportunities.
Buoyed by the success of the summit, Babu announced that the upcoming CII partnership summits will also be held in Vizag. So far, 334 Mous have been signed between the AP government and various national and international companies totaling to an investment of Rs 4,80,878 lakh crore and creating 10,15,836 jobs.
TDP MP and Industrialist Jayadev Galla-owned Amara Raja Group has committed to investments worth Rs 5,000 crores.
