Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti is back with his third collaboration with producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, titled Sarangapani Jathakam. This upcoming family entertainer stars Priyadarshi in a unique, comedy-driven role and is now set to release on April 25th, moving from its earlier planned date of April 18th.
Produced under the banner of Sridevi Movies—the studio behind iconic hits like Aditya 369, Gentleman, and Sammohanam—the film promises to be a delightful watch for audiences of all age groups. Priyadarshi plays a protagonist whose life decisions are heavily influenced by astrology, adding an interesting layer to the narrative.
Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad shared,
“I always wanted to make a clean, entertaining family film, and with Sarangapani Jathakam, that dream has come true. This will be a perfect summer entertainer.”
Explaining the shift in release date, the makers said,
“Based on our buyers’ suggestions, we’ve moved the release to April 25th to ensure wider reach and secure maximum theaters.”
The film also features an ensemble cast of seasoned comedians like Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, Naresh VK, Tanikella Bharani, and Srinivas Avasarala, promising plenty of laughs. Newcomer Roopa Koduyur plays the female lead.
With Vivek Sagar composing four vibrant tracks and PG Vinda handling the cinematography, Sarangapani Jathakam is expected to be a technically sound and musically rich film.
