Ever since the gripping trailer of Rangasthalam is out, there have been praises on Ram Charan and his performance. Critics lapped up the trailer and fans are into celebration. Many have been lauding Charan’s transformation and his acting prowess visible in the trailer.
This apart, here is the inside scoop. Director Sukumar had originally planned to make Rangasthalam with Jr NTR. Sukumar in fact made up his mind that Tarak would enact as Chitti Babu. However, in the last minute, Sukumar said to have narrated the story of Nannaku Prematho to NTR instead of Rangasthalam.
It is learnt that Sukumar didn’t narrate Rangasthalam to Tarak, else the fate would had been different. And subsequently Rangasthalam has went to the hands of Ram Charan and Charan readily agreed to take up the challenge as a hearing impaired. Set in a fictional village of Rangasthalam, the story is set in 1980s and is based on a brother sentiment in the backdrop of local politics that sheds light on the woes such as caste,creed in 80s.
