When it comes to taking credit for things which he hasn’t done by himself, KCR is learning to be one pro. This is the allegation which is being made by Telangana TDP. It is a known fact that Telangana suffered worst power cuts immediately after state division and then it was dreaded as to how summer would be.
But surprisingly there haven’t been much power cuts in summer seasonbarring for few minutes of unscheduled load shedding each day in ruralplaces. This was touted to be a remarkable achievement of sorts by KCR but T—TDP leader Revanth Reddy disagrees and says he has proof to showthere is no additional power generation.
Revanth says rather than taking any pro active measures, actually farmers have benefitted KCR by giving up their lives. The partyalleges that during kharif, lack of power has driven many farmers tosuicides and fearing repeat of the same, during Rabi season, farmershave stopped paddy cultivation in most areas of the state.
Hence, the party says that there has been a dramatic fall in demand since farmers left agriculture to winds. They say that it is not due to any foresightedness of KCR but the agony of farmers which has painted a temporary rosy picture. It has to be remembered that KCR himself said few months ago, that power cuts would be there foranother three years.
