Continuing its Anti Andhra policy to play with the sentiments of Telangana people, Telangana Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy alleged that Seemandhra bank employees in his constituency is not giving loans to Telangana farmers.
Lashing out at opposition parties for politicizing farmers suicides he said farmers suicides in the state is nothing new and just because TRS is ruling the state, opposition and some in the print media started politicizing the issue. Spitting venom on Andhra people, he said seemandhra employees refused loans to Telangana farmers.
He said one by name Appara Rao, Andhra Bank employee refused to give loan and only after he sent officials and warned that he would close the bank, he relented. When asked to come with the official number of farmers who committed suicides, Minister dodged on the question. He also shied away from naming the print media which he accused of politicising the farmers deaths.
