Today marks one year of celebrations for Telangana but for AP it is a bitter pill which they have been made to swallow forcibly. Today there are struggling to build everything from scratch and staring at revenue deficit for five more years easily. This is a time of introspection for them, without any doubt.
The only reason why they believed once again in Naidu is that they felt that he is the only capable person who can lift AP from its troubles and ensure the state develops on par with other leading states of India. To this day, they no longer doubt his sincerity towards this cause but his Telangana obsession is worrying them.
Naidu makes tall statements that AP employees in Hyderabad should be ready for sacrifices and move to AP from the city but he doesn’t move quickly. Always his obsession is towards gaining power in TS in 2019.No doubt as TDP chief, he shares the desire as a politician but people of AP feel Naidu is crossing the line.
Naidu doesn’t want to move out of Hyderabad and is always concerned over Telangana, they feel. They are of the opinion that than make promises to develop TS if TDP comes to power, Naidu and his team better focus on AP because this state needs succour and hope now and not Telangana. The recent episode involving Revanth is a pointer in this direction, people feel about Babu’s preoccupation with TS.
