Young hero Vijay Deverakonda aims of becoming a pan-Indian hero were shattered by ‘Liger’. This movie directed by Puri Jagannadh ended up being a massive disaster and Vijay had to change his approach now during the script selection. Reports suggest that he is looking for feel good and sensitive subjects rather than mass action movies.
With his upcoming movie ‘Khushi’ nearing completion, Vijay is listening to new stories and ideas. As it was revealed before, there are three directors who are reportedly looking to convince Vijay with their scripts. They are Harish Shankar, Parasuram and Gautham Thinnanuri. The latest news is that Sekhar Kammula joined the list now.
After scoring a hit with ‘Love Story’ last year, Kammula has announced a project with Tamil star hero Dhanush. He planned a thriller movie with ‘Maari’ hero but the project is yet to go on floors due to Dhanush’s packed schedule. Grapevine suggests that Sekhar Kammula is now looking to work with Deverakonda. Apparently, the ‘Fidaa’ director narrated a line to Vijay recently and it is to be seen what happens in the coming days.
As everyone knows, VD played a small role in Kammula’s ‘Life Is Beautiful’ back in 2012 and it will be a huge achievement to work as a hero in his direction now. Let us wait for more updates regarding this news.
