Sivakarthikeyan’s much-awaited action entertainer Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, continues to create a buzz. After the impactful title teaser that raised expectations, the makers have now released the first single, Selavika—a unique celebration of heartbreak.
Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Selavika is a refreshing mix of sorrow and sass. While the lyrics talk about love failure, the track bursts with energy and an upbeat vibe. It’s heartbreak with a groove, and Sivakarthikeyan’s effortless charm adds to its appeal on screen.
Lyricist Srinivasa Mouli’s words strike a balance between pain and playfulness, while singer Dhanunjay Seepana’s spirited vocals infuse the song with contagious energy. The result is a breakup anthem that turns pain into a peppy celebration for anyone who has loved and lost.
Featuring Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, Madharaasi is being produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies and is slated for a grand release on September 5th.
