Even before the release of Devadas, Nagarjuna had said September would be lucky for Akkinenis as the month happens to be the birth month of his veteran father Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Nag enthused confidence that his dad would ensure Devadas would perform well at the ticket windows.
In fact, Naga Chaitanya’s Shailaja Reddy Alludu that got mixed reviews managed to do well at the Box Office taking many by surprise. Nag has linked it to the ‘September Sentiment’. Delighted Nag also stated that Akhil’s Mr Majnu teaser got a thunderous response from fans and gave September courtesy to it.
But one thing is for sure. Even his latest offering Devadas got mixed response from critics, the film managed to get good openings on the first day. This shows that there is luck factor that is working in favour of Nag & family.
