Sharmila Accuses Jagan of Orchestrating Vijayasai Reddy’s Resignation

YS Sharmila, president of the AP Congress, has stirred controversy with her comments following YCP leader Vijayasai Reddy’s resignation from the Rajya Sabha. She claimed that the resignation of a prominent leader like Reddy exposes the underlying issues within YS Jagan’s leadership, asserting that it indicates the loss of Jagan’s credibility as a leader. Sharmila suggested that Reddy’s departure was not a spontaneous decision, but part of a larger, strategic plan orchestrated by Jagan.

She accused Jagan of deliberately sending Vijayasai Reddy to the BJP, claiming it was part of a hidden agenda. Sharmila further took aim at Reddy for his previous statements about the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, demanding that he come forward with the truth. She warned that after the 2024 elections, more YSRCP leaders could leave the party.

Sharmila also hinted at a connection between Jagan and the BJP, calling him Modi’s “foster son” and alleging that Jagan was using Reddy as a shield to avoid legal scrutiny, particularly concerning the Viveka murder case. She reminded the public of the derogatory remarks made by Reddy against her family, including her children.

Sharmila’s strong statements have drawn significant attention, suggesting that Vijayasai Reddy’s resignation is more than just a personal decision, but rather a sign of growing tensions and shifting political dynamics within the YSRCP.
