There have been many talks about the YSRCP boss Jagan’s sister Y S Sharmila being sidelined in the party after working hard for party’s activities until Jagan was in jail. In between, there was a talk that she was packing her bags and heading off to USA. Even after this phase and during general elections too, there were reports of Sharmila becoming upset as Jagan didn’t entertain her request for MP ticket.
However, eventually bowing down to the demand of cadre, Jagan resurrected Sharmila’s role. And he made her de facto in charge of Telangana but off late he is reportedly upset that Sharmila is not showing interest inspite of himself reaching out to her. Now the grapevine is that Sharmila may not be that keen to take up Telangana affairs. This is due to the remote possibility of his party coming to power in the Telangana region and she is looking for a larger pie this side, that is towards Andhra Pradesh. Will Jagan be okay with Sharmila’s thoughts or will this lead to any other rift remains to be seen.
