No matter what one wants, destiny plays a major role in how one’s life shapes up. Popular anchor Swapna had dreams of becoming a singer. A trained classical singer, she knows the nuances of singing and would have had a good career. But once she started getting anchoring offers, she shifted gears and the rest as they say is history.
After she became a popular anchor, she says she could not approach music directors to request for a break. But she says she has learnt a lot by interviewing all famous singers. Even today, Swapna says she is open to lending playback if she gets a good offer.
