Shiva Balaji, a title-winner of Bigg Boss Telugu, is set to appear in the much-anticipated devotional epic Kannappa, playing Kumaradeva Sastry — the son of Mahadeva Sastry, portrayed by veteran actor Mohan Babu. Talking about his role, the Arya actor reveals, “Since I was playing Mohan Babu garu’s son, I mirrored his character’s intense personality. Mahadeva Sastry is so domineering that he doesn’t even like being touched by his own son, and my character reflects this dynamic.”
Describing Kannappa as an emotionally charged and visually spectacular film, Shiva Balaji says the second half will leave a profound impact on the audience. Hinting at exciting star power, he reveals that Prabhas features for around 40 minutes. “Once Mohanlal enters the narrative, the story takes a thrilling turn. Prabhas’ entry further raises the intensity,” he adds. According to Shiva Balaji, the film is packed with goosebump-inducing moments that will captivate the audience.
Additionally, Shiva Balaji shared an update on his OTT plans. “After Recce, I haven’t taken up any other streaming projects, but I’m planning to come back soon with Recce 2,” he confirmed.
