Contrary to recent media reports that Rajole ex MLA and former Congress leader Rapaka Varaprasada Rao would join YSRCP, Varaprasad has given a shock to Jagan as he met Pawan Kalyan. Rapaka said to have a detailed discussion with Pawan and his entry into Janasena is almost certain.
Pawan told to have confirmed Rapaka’s candidature from Razole on Janasena ticket. Since Pawan and Janasena has some hope in East Godavari district given the majority voters are from Pawan’s community, Rapaka seems to have changed his decision in the last minute and turned towards PK.
A senior leader from the East Godavari district said to have played crucial role in Rapaka’s entry into the party. He said to have advised the local leaders and party workers to invite him into party and things went smooth as per the plan. However, Rapaka told to had sought two days time and after Pawan’s appointment got confirmed, Rapaka came to Hyderabad and met Pawan. After meeting Pawan, Rapaka confirmed to his followers about the entry into Janasena.
While YCP leaders had been counting on Rapaka to join their party, Rapaka seems to have given a big shock to Jagan and his leaders.
