Shruti Haasan plays a pivotal role in the much-awaited star-studded action spectacle Coolie, which features Rajinikanth as the protagonist and Nagarjuna in a never-seen-before antagonist role.
Speaking about the experience, Shruti expressed her gratitude for working alongside the legendary Rajinikanth. “It’s been such a blessing to share the screen with him. My character in this movie is very close to my heart — I connected with it on a personal level. I’m sure audiences, especially women, will relate to it as much as I did,” she said.
The actress also opened up about working with Nagarjuna and Upendra. “I’ve acted with many stars before, but this film was different. Nagarjuna’s character is going to be phenomenal. For the first time, he’s playing a full-fledged villain, and it’s going to surprise everyone,” she revealed.
Praising director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Shruti added, “He is a filmmaker with a very clear vision. He knows exactly what he wants, and it’s a joy to work with someone like that.”
Calling Coolie a complete entertainer, Shruti Haasan said, “The film blends breathtaking action with a strong emotional core. Audiences are definitely going to love it.”
Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie is all set for a grand release on August 14th and will be distributed in the Telugu states through Asian Multiplexes Pvt. Ltd.
