After scoring two consecutive blockbusters with DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, Siddu Jonnalagadda is now eyeing a hat-trick with his upcoming film Jack. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Creations banner, the film is riding high on expectations. This marks Siddu’s first major project post the Tillu franchise, and fans are eager to see him in a new avatar.
The trailer has already piqued curiosity, and the buzz intensified further after a lively pre-release event.
Speaking at the event, Siddu was candid about his career thoughts. “After Tillu Square, I was in a dilemma. I didn’t want to get stuck in the same zone. That’s when Prasad garu introduced me to Bhaskar garu and this story. I heard it, loved it, and gave an instant yes,” Siddu revealed.
He also shared a nostalgic anecdote about his connection with director Bhaskar, tracing it back to the days of Ram Charan’s Orange. “During Orange, Bhaskar garu used to scold me, but it was all about cinema and passion. He’s a deep thinker. Now, with Jack, he gave me creative freedom to blend comedy and punches in my style,” Siddu said, drawing an interesting comparison to his signature Tillu vibe.
As Jack readies for release on April 10, Siddu closed his speech with a humorous appeal
“Don’t wait ten years like you did with Orange! Watch Jack now—you’re going to love it.”
