MLC Silpa Chakrapani resigned from TDP and joins YSRC party. There were speculations from many days about Silpa joining YSRC after his brother Silpa Mohan Reddy left TDP for YSRC. Making them true, SIlpa Chakrapani finally resigned from TDP.
Groups of Bhuma and Silpa have been rivals since years and Silpa supporters opposes Bhuma joining TDP. This rivalry reached next level when Chandrababu gave cabinet seat for Bhuma Akhila Priya after Nagi Reddy’s death. Chakrapani’s brother Silpa mohan Reddy decided to quit TDP, only after he was denied party ticket for Nandyal Bi-election then.
Following his brother, Chakrapani too joined YSRC party and has been staying away from TDP party activities since some time. Silpa Chakrapani sent his resignation to Chandrababu through fax on Wednesday and it is heard that Jagan promised him a prominent position in YSRCP.
