Simran, the sensuous heartthrob of yesteryears youths, took a long sabbatical from silver screen after she got married to her longtime friend. The actress was at the high point of her career when she quit films following an alleged romantic fling with Kamal Haasan.
The actress then started appearing in TV serials in Tamil and also acted in few films occasionally. The Kollywood media circles are abuzz that Simran is returning to silver screen with young music director’s latest acting venture Trisha Illana Nayantara.
Sources say that Simran is playing an important role in the film and the makers have shelled out a bomb to make her sign the film. Simran was last seen as a wedding planner in Nani and Vani Kapoor’s Aaha Kalyanam, which bombed miserably.
Thanks to her popularity in Telugu, there is no doubt that the film will be released in Telugu as well. Well guys, you will have to wait for few more months to watch your favorite actress again.
