Renowned playback singer S Janaki is head injured on Tuesday after she slipped in the bathroom of her hotel room in Tirupati. She was immediately taken to SVIMS (Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Science,Tirupathi) hospital for treatment.
Doctors advised her to undergo the CT Scan. The doctors assured the family members of the Singer that there is nothing to worry and will offer further treatment after going through the medical reports.
S.Janaki has sung in many Indian languages, most frequently in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Throughout a career spanning more than five decades, she has won four National Film Awards and 31 different State Film Awards. She is renowned for her voice modulation abilities and better known as, “The Nightingale of the South”. We pray for her speedy recover!!!
