Ever since the allegations of sexual harassment turned up on Guinness Record winning singer Ghazal Srinivas, there are various moral police talking to media to give a class to media. That includes the likes of AP Minister Manikyala Rao who has accused the media of exaggerating the incident without noticing facts.
Many may ask why media made such huge focus on Ghazal Srinivas episode, even when the case is not proved. But actually, when Police arrest someone with a warrant in hand, it can be understood that they have got a strong evidence that proves the allegations. That’s why media aired special stories and also competed with each other to interview the complainant (victim). Still, moral police have blasted media that they are not highlighting Srinivas’ good work, but tarnishing his image based on a false case.
Enraged by such comments, many crime investigation reporters managed through their sources to bring some videotapes of Ghazal Srinivas and his maid Parvathi out into public. Through various YouTube channels, they have shared these tapes and in one of the tapes, the victim was seen massaging the shoulder, back and buttock of the 51-year-old singer. While there is hours of footage with Ghazal and Parvathi in them with much more compromising acts, the chances of getting a bail are almost gone for the singer.
While Minister Manikyala Rao openly tendered apology for his previous comments, other moral police are busy shying away from social media where they took a class to media. Seems like the revenge act of media people by leaking the sex tapes has won in the end.
