Marking International Women’s Day on March 8th, the trailer of ‘Sita On The Road’ is released. It’s a tale of five different women from five different backgrounds. Kalpika Ganesh, Gayatri Gupta, Khatera Hakimi, Nesa Farhadi and Uma Lingaiah have played the lead roles.
The trailer starts with Kapika who says she is vexed with the people around her and she leaves far from all her people. In the course of her journey, she comes across with four women who are also battling against all odds. The trailer is packed with hard hitting dialogues and there are few cuss words as well.
‘Mana Parents Manni Chadipinchedi, Manam Baagupadadam Kosam Kaadu… Repu Goppinti Sambhandam Raavadaaniki…’ (The reason parents educate us is not for our well-being… it’s for a good alliance in futue).
‘Sita On The Road’ is written and directed by Praneeth Yaaron and this is an original road film. Overall the trailer appears like a strong and bold content film with the kind of women struggling in the society.
The director has also composed music for the film.
