In December, just when Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad was gearing up to record the final song for Nannaku Prematho, his father and senior Tollywood writer Satya Murthy passed away due to heart attack. DSP, his family and the entire film fraternity was deeply shattered by this sudden loss.
DSP quickly recovered from the loss and finished his work for Nannaku Prematho on time and the film has now been termed a Sankranthi hit and DSP has been immensely appreciated for his chart bursting music. Recently, the film’s unit released the title song, conceived and composed by DSP himself.
Speaking on the occasion, DSP revealed an emotional incident in which his mother couldn’t control her tears while watching Nannaku Prematho. DSP said that his father died in the same way Rajendra Prasad’s character dies in the film – smiling pleasantly, and this made his mother even more emotional.
