Hrithik Roshan Reacts to Mumbai Metro Slab Collapse, Calls for Safety Measures
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan expressed deep concern over the recent collapse of a Metro slab in Mumbai, describing the incident as “heartbreaking and traumatic.” Sharing a video of the site on his Instagram story on Sunday, the 52-year-old actor extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
“Heartbreaking and traumatic. My condolences to the family of the deceased and prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured… I commend the swift action taken by the authorities to ensure accountability, but safety checks and prevention of such accidents must be a priority, especially with ongoing development across Mumbai’s busiest streets,” Roshan wrote.
He further emphasized the importance of protecting both construction workers and the public, urging strict adherence to safety guidelines to prevent future incidents. The collapse of the bridge segment of the under-construction Metro Rail Line 4 in Mulund on Saturday left one person dead and three others injured.
