Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, renowned for his grand cinematic spectacles and cutting-edge VFX in films like Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali, and RRR, seems to be taking a different approach for his upcoming project with Superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB 29. Instead of relying heavily on CGI, the director appears to be focusing on a more realistic filming style.
Following extensive schedules in India, the SSMB 29 team recently arrived in Nairobi for the next phase of shooting. Lead actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a glimpse of her experience on Instagram, posting pictures and videos from her safari in the “pride lands,” featuring animals like hyenas, hippos, ostriches, and African buffalo.
Fans, inspired by Priyanka’s posts, speculate that Rajamouli might be capturing the wildlife and jungle sequences in a realistic manner, blending natural landscapes with action-packed storytelling. This approach has generated excitement, given the director’s reputation for larger-than-life VFX spectacles.
As revealed earlier, SSMB 29 is shaping up to be a globe-trotting action-adventure drama set against a forest backdrop. Alongside Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Prithviraj Sukumaran is also playing a crucial role in the film.
