Happening music director SS Thaman continues to be one of the most sought-after talents in South Indian cinema. Known for his powerful background scores and chart-topping songs, Thaman has consistently delivered musical brilliance across languages.

Recently, he made headlines with a big announcement regarding Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film OG. Thaman had promised that the first single, which is also the title track, would be released on the very day the film’s shoot resumed. He further revealed that Tamil star Simbu (STR) had lent his vocals for the powerful number, raising excitement among fans.

However, despite the shoot resuming and Pawan Kalyan returning to the sets in Fuji, the promised song has not yet been released. This unexpected delay has led to some disappointment among fans who were eagerly waiting for the track.

While it may seem like Thaman went back on his word, the delay could be attributed to practical reasons. The shoot resumed sooner than anticipated, and the team might be reworking their promotional strategy. With OG aiming for a September 2025 release, it’s likely that the makers are planning a well-timed marketing campaign to build hype in a more structured manner.

All eyes are now on Thaman and the production team to deliver what’s expected to be a high-octane musical experience, especially with Simbu’s voice adding a unique flair to the much-awaited title track.
