Superstar Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated film SSMB29, directed by visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli, recently completed an important shooting schedule in Nairobi, Kenya. During the schedule wrap, Rajamouli also met with Kenyan Cabinet Minister for Foreign Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, marking the project’s growing international attention.
Several Kenyan newspapers, including The Star, widely reported that the film would be released in two parts, similar to blockbusters like Baahubali and KGF. However, reliable industry sources clarified that SSMB29 is being planned as a single-part release. Known for his meticulous planning, Rajamouli never opts for a two-part format unless the story demands it. Hence, contrary to international reports, the film is most likely heading for a grand single-part release.
Adding to the buzz, discussions with Kenyan officials revealed that SSMB29 is set for a record-breaking release across 120 countries on March 25, 2027. This would surpass the overseas footprint of major Bollywood films such as Pathaan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Vikram Vedha, setting a new benchmark for Indian cinema on the global stage.
With Mahesh Babu teaming up with Rajamouli for the first time, expectations are sky-high, and fans worldwide are eagerly waiting for more official updates.
