Most of our Tollywood stars, who enjoy phenomenal stardom in the Telugu states, also have decent a fan base in all other southern states. Especially, while NTR commands a solid fan adulation in Karnataka, Allu Arjun has a humongous fan following in Kerala. Even other leading stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas and Ram Charan too have millions of fans down south.
But now, with the ever growing market of Tollywood films beyond the Telugu states, all our stars have determined to increase their market even further and seem to have devised a smart and an effective strategy.
For this, most of our star heroes have roped in stars from southern film industries. NTR would be joining forces with the legendary Malayalam star Mohanlal, while Ram Charan will soon counter Arvind Swami in Thani Oruvan’s remake. This move by NTR and Cherry would surely help their films get dubbed into Malayalam and Tamil respectively amidst a huge fanfare.
Also, fans of Mohanlal and Arvind Swami will extend their loyalties towards NTR and Cherry. Meanwhile, Prabhas, who already acted along with Kannada star Sudeep and Tamil star Satyaraj in Baahubali, will join forces with several stars from Tamil and Bollywood for Baahubali 2.
This move is also mutually beneficial to Mohanlal and Sudeep, who can strengthen their fan base in the Telugu states.
