Following the arrest of its prominent leader from Telangana, Revanth Reddy, TDP lashed out at the Telangana ACB for acting at the behest of the TRS government and also accused TRS of resorting to blackmail politics. Now, TDP is in a tight spot for supporting the sting operation on the Uttarakhandh CM Harish Rawat.
In a string operation CD released by the BJP, CM Harish Rawat was seen asking for bribes to bring out changes in the state’s liquor policy. The TDP leaders have been maintaining strategic silence regarding the operation carried out by the BJP, as it is a part of the BJP led coalition government at the centre.
These double standards by TDP was lambasted by the TRS MP Vinod, who said that TDP has no moral right to fight for Revanth Reddy. Meanwhile, TDP says that there is a huge difference between the Revanth Reddy’s case and the Uttarakhand CM, as the sting operation was carried out by a private agency in the latter’s case.
