Popular as the Andala Rakshasi of Telugu cinema she scored big flops like Mister, Radha and Yuddham Sharanam in a row. That led to filmmakers approaching her for second heroine roles. So what to do?
A worried Lavanya made a good deal, offering her dates at a cheap price equal to that of a newcomer if she’s given a solo heroine role. That’s how she managed to get into Nikhil’s latest movie, a remake of Tamil hit Kanithan, by accepting the 20 lakhs remuneration, while she was demanding close to 40 lakh earlier. Also, she’s doing second heroine roles in movies like Varun Tej’s space mystery and another movie.
The trick to surviving is when to hit the iron even though it is hot. And it looks like Lavanya made a nice move and that might make her a busy heroine yet again as she slashed her fee now. Even Tamanna and Kajal survived for years by doing the same thing when needed.
