All airports across the country are put on high alert following intelligence warning that suicide bombers may board 2 Air India flights. So passengers who are boarding flights should be prepared to undergo increased security checks.
Major airports like Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kochi are on high alert after receiving intelligence reports that suicide bombers will be trying to board two Air India flights in the early hours on Saturday.
Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) headquarters in New Delhi, wrote a letter that suicide bombers could board Air India’s Ahmedabad-Mumbai and Mumbai-Kochi flights scheduled for early morning departure on Saturday.
Source say bombers are planning to take advantage of Gujarathi New Year and Bhai Beej on Oct 24 and Oct 25 respectively.
