After the success of OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, curiosity is high about director Sujeeth’s next project. Sujeeth began his career with Sharwanand’s Run Raja Run and then directed the pan-India hit Saaho with Prabhas. With OG, he ventured into a new genre, moving from comedy drama to serious action drama. Now, Sujeeth is gearing up for a dark comedy.
In a recent interview, Sujeeth shared that he misses making fun-filled films and believes that the market is reaching saturation in certain genres. He wants to explore a shift, creating a dark comedy with potential repeat value.
“Whenever I watch Nelson’s films, I feel we should be making similar entertaining films in Telugu. Working on fun films is always enjoyable, unlike the serious approach needed for action dramas,” said Sujeeth, assuring fans that his next film will release next year without delays.
Meanwhile, speculations suggest that Nani will star in Sujeeth’s upcoming film, which is expected to launch on the eve of Dussehra. Contrary to rumors that the project would be an action entertainer, it is actually a witty dark comedy with well-integrated action sequences. The script is reportedly complete, and Sujeeth plans to wrap the entire shoot in a single schedule in Europe.
