Not on reel but in real. Sumanth Akkineni, grandson of Late Dr ANR has become heir to the property left behind by ANR. The veteran actor succumbed to a massive cardiac attack even as he was successfully battling cancer had residence on Road #1 Banjara Hills which was later converted to a commercial property.
And ANR loved his grandson Sumanth so dearly that he and his wife Annapurna adopted him and his sister Supriya when they were small after his parents left to US. And Sumanth was always with grandparents. Sumanth married actress Keerthi Reddy (Arjun fame) in 2004 but divorced in 2006 and since his separation Sumanth was with ANR itself at ANR’s Jubilee Hills’ residence.
Now with the death of the thespian the actor’s Banjara Hills’ property goes to Sumanth and it is learnt that the property runs easily in some tens of crores!
