Actress Mrunal Thakur recently opened up about her personal life and close friendships in a candid conversation on a podcast, sharing heartfelt insights about her bond with Tamannaah Bhatia.
Mrunal described Tamannaah as someone with the “purest heart,” saying, “She has my heart. She is the best. Our friendship is like a strong sister bond.” She revealed that Tamannaah has played an important role in her emotional well-being, constantly encouraging her to stay positive, enjoy life, and embrace happiness. According to Mrunal, their friendship has been both uplifting and deeply meaningful.
Interestingly, Mrunal also reflected on her childhood, admitting that she initially struggled to form close friendships with girls. She shared that growing up mostly around boys made her believe female friendships were difficult to build. However, her perspective changed after entering the film industry.
She recalled meeting Tamannaah during a flight to Hyderabad, which marked the beginning of their close friendship. From that moment, they gradually bonded and became inseparable, eventually treating each other like sisters.
Speaking about their relationship, she said it is about “motivating each other, having fun, enjoying life, and celebrating oneself.” Mrunal emphasized that they support each other through both highs and lows and share a comfort level where they can speak freely without judgment.
