After a series of flops and below par films, Dil Raju finally scored a hit with Supreme. Thanks to Brahmotsavam’s disastrous result, Supreme had an extended run at the box office along with Bichagadu.Supreme that completed fifty days run at the ticket window has turned out to be the first hit for Sai Dharam Tej.
Dil Raju made 8 crore profit on Supreme that includes the satellite and other rights. Dil Raju expected Supreme to become a huge hit at the box office. He hoped that it will cover the losses incurred by Krishnashtami on which he had reportedly lost more than 11 crore.
However Dil Raju made a smart choice by getting the Nizam distribution rights of A Aa that went on to become a blockbuster in this territory.Dil Raju may not be as successful producer and distributor as he used to be, but he hasn’t totally lost his mojo yet. He is occasionally scoring that much needed hits so that he doesn’t go broke.
