Actress Shruti Haasan has finally taken some time off after months of packed schedules and professional commitments. The actress is currently enjoying a much-needed vacation, giving herself a break from continuous work.

Shruti shared a cheerful selfie on her Instagram stories from aboard a flight, looking relaxed and happy. While she did not disclose her destination or the duration of her trip, the post clearly reflected her excitement about the long-overdue getaway.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Coolie, where she played the role of Preethi Rajasekar. The film featured an ensemble cast that included stalwarts of Indian cinema such as Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir, and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in a special cameo.

Coolie revolves around a former coolie union leader who investigates the mysterious death of his close friend, leading him into the depths of a powerful crime syndicate. The film was officially announced in September 2023 under the tentative title Thalaivar 171, marking Rajinikanth’s 171st film as a lead actor. The official title was unveiled in April 2024, with principal photography carried out between July 2024 and March 2025 across multiple locations including Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, and Bangkok.

Looking ahead, Shruti Haasan will next be seen in Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. The first installment, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, released in 2023 and emerged as a massive success. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the epic neo-noir action thriller stars Prabhas in the lead and features an ensemble cast including John Vijay, Easwari Rao, Tinnu Anand, Devaraj, Brahmaji, and Mime Gopi. Set in the dystopian city-state of Khansaar, the film explores the deep bond between Deva, the exiled prince, and Varadha, the reigning prince, as political conspiracies threaten the kingdom.
