Perhaps for the first time, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has had the courtesy to wish another leader, particularly his political rival, on the latter’s birthday.
On Tuesday, Naidu wished his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao on the occasion of the latter’s birthday.
The TDP supremo, who was at loggerheads with Chandrasekhar Rao on various inter-State issues till recently until Governor ESL Narasimhan intervened and brought about a rapprochement, on Tuesday spoke to KCR on phone and wished him happy returns of the day.
Such bonhomie had never happened in the political career of Naidu. Apparently, the TDP chief was wary of the reports that the TRS chief is cozying up with the NDA and very soon, both TDP and TRS would be partners in the Centre. Thus, KCR’s birthday turned the foes into friends!
