Swiggy, India’s leading food delivery platform, has announced the launch of ‘Drops’, a first-of-its-kind feature aimed at transforming food delivery into an exciting, exclusive, and immersive culinary experience. Designed to deliver a sense of urgency and exclusivity, ‘Drops’ introduces limited-edition, chef-curated dishes that are available for a short period and in restricted quantities.
This innovative feature brings food lovers closer to some of the country’s most renowned chefs and cult-favourite restaurants. The inaugural lineup includes celebrated names such as Le15 Patisserie by Pooja Dhingra, Smash Guys by AB Gupta, Aubree, Ciclo Café, Louis Burger, Good Flippin’s Burgers, TwentySeven Bakehouse, and Espressos AnyDay.
Each ‘drop’ is a timed culinary event featuring unique recipes not found on regular menus. Users can express interest in advance via the Swiggy app, and once slots are filled, a waitlist is activated. Swiggy supports user engagement with timely reminders, building anticipation and encouraging swift action to not miss out on the limited offering.
