Megastar Chiranjeevi has voiced immense confidence in his upcoming Sankranti release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, stating that the film will “exceed all expectations.” Speaking at the grand pre-release event, the veteran star said the film gave him immense happiness and described his experience of sharing screen space with Victory Venkatesh as one of the most enjoyable phases of his career. Directed by hitmaker Anil Ravipudi, the film marks Chiranjeevi’s first collaboration with the director and is slated for a grand theatrical release on January 12. The presence of Victory Venkatesh in an extended cameo has further heightened the buzz, as it marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between the two senior stars.

Extending New Year and Sankranti wishes to fans and the film fraternity, Chiranjeevi expressed hope that Sankranti 2026 would be remembered as a golden chapter for Telugu cinema. He urged audiences to support all festival releases, emphasizing that the growth of the industry depends on the success of every film. Recalling veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao’s words, Chiranjeevi said it was predicted long ago that a film with Anil Ravipudi would turn out special. He revealed that Anil narrated a story rooted in strong family emotions, sentiment, and entertainment, without unnecessary experimentation. The director’s intention, he added, was to revive the charm of classic Chiranjeevi-style family entertainers and present it to a new generation.

The Megastar said the role felt effortless, as the scenes were crafted perfectly around his body language and strengths. Describing the shoot as a joyful journey, he said every day on set felt like a picnic due to Anil Ravipudi’s positive energy and work culture. He also praised the director’s sharp editing sense and pointed out that completing the film on time and within budget itself was a big achievement. Confident about the audience response, Chiranjeevi said January 12 would seal the film’s success as a grand hit.

Talking about Victory Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi said their combination was long overdue and credited Anil Ravipudi for bringing them together convincingly. He described Venkatesh as extremely positive and inspiring, adding that their scenes felt more like two youngsters enjoying themselves rather than actors performing. Assuring fans, he said, “Whatever expectations you have on this film, it will go beyond them.”

Chiranjeevi also showered praise on Nayanthara, saying she became part of the film like a family member and delivered a memorable performance. He lauded music director Bheems for composing a chartbuster album, particularly highlighting “Meesala Pilla,” which has already crossed 100 million views. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy was appreciated for his fast-paced visuals, while production designer Prakash received praise for enhancing the film’s visual richness.

Special appreciation was reserved for producers Sahu Garapati and his daughter Sushmita Konidela. Chiranjeevi expressed pride in Sushmita’s dedication, noting that she worked tirelessly and proved her commitment as a producer. He said the film would always remain special to him as a father.

Victory Venkatesh, addressing the gathering, said working with Chiranjeevi was a memorable experience and promised audiences a complete entertainer. He described their on-screen moments as a “total riot” and said the film perfectly captures the true spirit of Sankranti. With massive star power, a proven director, hit music, and festive timing, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is emerging as one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the season, with expectations soaring ahead of its January 12 release.
