Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav to Debut as Producer with Vishwak Sen’s ‘Cult’

The latest buzz in Tollywood is that Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav, son of former BRS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, is set to enter the Telugu film industry—this time behind the camera. Sai Kiran has reportedly taken on the role of producer for young hero Vishwak Sen’s upcoming project, tentatively titled Cult, which is currently in its pre-production phase. A formal announcement is expected soon.

Before turning to films, Sai Kiran followed in his father’s political footsteps and contested the 2019 general elections from the Secunderabad constituency. He narrowly lost to BJP Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and soon afterward industry whispers suggested he might try his hand at acting. Ultimately, he decided to leverage his family’s cinematic connections by stepping into production instead.

His father, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, served as Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Cinematography during the BRS regime and maintains close ties with many Tollywood luminaries—relationships that will surely benefit his son’s new venture. Notably, Sai Kiran’s uncle, Talasani Shankar Yadav, has prior producing experience, having backed the Rajendra Prasad–Indraja starrer Chinni Chinni Aasa.

With a blend of political pedigree and film-industry know-how, Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav’s transition to producer could inject fresh energy into Vishwak Sen’s next outing—and perhaps mark the beginning of a promising new chapter for the Talasani family in Tollywood.
