Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Vasishta Simha, is generating significant buzz following the release of its teaser, particularly for Tamannaah’s striking portrayal of the powerful character Shivashakti. Directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D. Madhu on a grand scale, the film is all set to hit theatres on April 17. The Telugu and Hindi trailers were launched today at the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai.
Speaking at the event, Tamannaah expressed her gratitude to writer and project supervisor Sampath Nandi for envisioning a strong female lead and entrusting her with the role of Shivashakti. She shared that the film aims to awaken the divinity within people, rather than looking for it externally.
Tamannaah also spoke highly of her co-star Vasishta Simha and appreciated the passion and scale with which producer D. Madhu has brought the film to life. Vasishta, in turn, praised Tamannaah’s dedication and performance, adding that the audience will be thrilled by what they see on the big screen.
Sampath Nandi acknowledged Tamannaah’s deep commitment to the role, revealing that she even gave up eating non-vegetarian food and stayed spiritually grounded to embody the essence of Shivashakti during the shoot. He promised the audience an emotionally powerful cinematic experience and predicted that Odela 2 will be a massive blockbuster.
The trailer has already begun receiving a tremendous response, raising expectations for this divine action-drama as the release date draws near.
