Veteran filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja has praised the soulful song “Chusthunnavemo” from the upcoming film Maathru, highlighting its deep emotional impact. Songs celebrating motherly love have always resonated with audiences, and this track continues that heartfelt tradition.
Produced by B. Siva Prasad under Shree Padmini Cinemas and directed by John Zakky, Maathru features Sriram, Nandini Roy, Sugi Vijay, and Rupali Bhushan in key roles.
The song, composed by Shekar Chandra, with lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja and vocals by Karunya, beautifully conveys the pain of separation from a mother. Tammareddy Bharadwaja appreciated its emotional depth and expressed concern over the decline of such poignant themes in modern cinema.
With filming now complete, Maathru is gearing up for release. The film’s songs have already begun trending online, generating strong anticipation among audiences.
