TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has offered to resign to his MLA seat over Delta Sugars issue. Amidst huge drama, teary-eyed Vamsi has offered to resign to the MLA post. Vamsi has got emotional in front of media in the lobby in AP Assembly, however, however, TDP senior leaders got alerted and tried to persuade Vamsi. Vamsi was rushed inside, Kala Venkat Rao, Nara Lokesh have been trying to convince Vamsi.
Vamsi is said to be upset with the way CMO has handled the entire issue. Apparently, Vamsi is under the impression that the CMO has treated him with ‘disrespect’. With CM Chandrababu Naidu is expected to come to the Assembly in a while, the issue is expected to taken to Naidu’s notice.
Going into details, this is all due to Delta Sugars.Owned by BJP MP Gokaraju Rangaraju, Delta Sugars had announced lockout of the company. Apparently, the company has not paid wages to several farmers for a while. Vamsi stepped in for farmers and has been waging war against Delta Sugars.
The issue has been going on for a while. However, Vamsi is of the opinion that he could not able to do justice to farmers even as he is serving as sitting MLA from the incumbent government.
With one side his own MLA and on the other side MP belonging to alliance partner BJP, Naidu and TDP top brass is clueless. However, insiders say that this would be solved through talks.
