Telugu Desam Party is in the redemption mode after such a humiliating loss in the 2019 general and parliament elections. There are only 3 MPs in their party and among them, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani is undoubtedly the prominent personality. Though he has been controversial, he has his part of the credit in the emergence of TDP in the Krishna region.
Despite the sensational political image, on the other hand, even on his own party TDP, too many dissatisfied comments are being heard about Nani. Moreover, there is a strong argument that his lack of close ties with former district minister Devineni Uma and his political differences with the family of Gadde Rammohan, an MLA from the eastern constituency, have isolated Kesineni from the party.
In addition, the minority leader in the western constituency, Jalil, a former MLA who gave a ticket to his daughter in the last election, is not falling for Kesineni. Former MLA Bonda Uma, who belonged to the Kesineni community till yesterday, has now become silent for whatever reasons. Reportedly. not even 10 followers are supporting him. The recent development has left Nani’s followers deeply distressed.
Although he was the sitting MP on the day of the inauguration of the projects like Durga Flyover and such, Nani was ignored by both the state government and the central government. Although Nani was supposed to be called according to the protocol, the state government suggested participating from home in the name of corona rules. Deeply hurried with this, Nani didn’t even participate. However, taking this credit into his account, he held a press meet.
Nani’s words seem to have aimed at his own party leaders. He said that all these days many leaders were close to him but all of a sudden he felt like he is being deserted by the fellow leaders. To be honest, Nani should get a lot of credit for the developmental works that are being happened in Vijayawada. In this context, Keshineni Nani Vijayawada MP spoke well in Parliament regarding the allocation of funds for the respective projects.
There were also instances where he stayed in Delhi and tried to get the funds on time. But Nani’s disappointment is that he hasn’t got any recognition from his own party after all he had done on the name of TDP in Vijayawada.
