He was first supposed to make a multi-starrer with Venkatesh and Nara Rohit. Shriya Saran and Eesha Rebba were also confirmed as the heroines.But thanks to the Sri Reddy episode, the project got shelved and Teja then set his eyes on NTR’s biopic. Realising that he could not measure up to the expectations of the mercurial Balakrishna, Teja walked out of the project.
He then spoke of a biopic on Uday Kiran but shelved those plans after alleged pressure from the mega-family.Then there was talk of a possible collaboration with Rana but the latter is taking rest following ill health.It was then said that he would be directing the debut film of producer Bellamkonda Suresh’s second son. Finally, it has been confirmed that Teja will be directing Bellamkonda’s elder son Sai Srinivas.
Already, Anup Rubens has composed two tunes for the project and Teja has opted for Kajal Agarwal as the heroine.The film will reportedly be an action entertainer with six fight sequences and will get underway once Sai Srinivas is done with his current project which incidentally also has Kajal Agarwal as the heroine.
