Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been vocal in his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, often accusing the central government of neglecting Telangana’s interests. On the other hand, Modi has also taken political jabs at Revanth during his visits to the state, accusing the Congress-led government of making grand promises but failing to deliver.
However, setting aside their usual political rivalry, the two leaders came together today for a significant and largely positive meeting in Delhi.
CM Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Telangana’s IT Minister Sridhar Babu, met with PM Modi for nearly an hour, discussing a wide range of issues concerning the state. Despite their history of satirical remarks against each other, the meeting took a different tone, with both leaders seen sharing smiles and engaging in constructive dialogue.
This unexpected meeting has now become a major topic of political discussion in Telangana, raising speculation about the possible outcomes and future developments between the state and the center.
