Telangana DGP office goes ‘Paperless’

Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) workplace will launch KM ATOM Application Software, a knowledge management automation of files for executive purposes.
Imposition of the KM-ATOM application software has been prospered exclusively for administrative works in all government workplaces in the move towards ‘paperless’ offices advanced by APTS, Telangana Unit (Andhra Pradesh Technology Services). 
It will be taken up in the administrative wing of Telangana DGP office from March 2, an official release said on Friday. The Package is progressed under three-tier architecture (Web-Based) environment entirely run under the Web Based environment, and is supple to operate and user friendly, it said. 
The key aim of the implementation of the package is for the paperless office. The package is having a provision of backup of files maintained fully by the administrative department of the respective offices itself, the release said.
