Reigning heartthrob Vijay Devarakonda is one of the very few actors from Telangana to have made a mark in Telugu film industry. The actor’s Telangana dialect besides his natural flair for acting can be largely attributed for his success. This star from Telangana is now romancing a true-blue girl from Andhra in his next film.
Vijay is currently acting in a Geetha Arts film that is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Priyanka Jawalkar, a girl hailing from Anantapur of Rayalaseema region in AP has been roped in to romance him.
After completing engineering in Computer Science from Anantapur, Priyanka did a course in Fashion Technology at NIFT, Hyderabad. She claims to have done a few short films too before getting the lucky opportunity of making her Tollywood debut with a Devarakonda-starrer.
Talking about she got this dream debut, Priyanka said that she had to audition multiple times over a period of almost three months before getting finalized. She said that impressed by her dressing sense and also considering that she is a NIFT graduate, the makers allowed her to style for herself in the film.
Marathi girl Shalini Pandey hit jackpot with Vijay’s ‘Arjun Reddy’. It needs to be seen how far Devarakonda’s new-found stardom helps in building the career of this Rayalaseema girl.
