The Godavari Maha Pushkaralu will be commenced on the 14th of this month by the Chief Ministers of the Telugu states at the same time. While the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the Pushkaralu by the Godavari River in Rajahmundry at the sunrise, the Telanagana CM KCR will also flag off the Telangana state’s Pushkaralu at Dharmapuri in Karimnagar.
This will be the Telangana state’s first ever Pushkaralu after the state formation and the government is taking utmost care to make this spiritual event a grand success. Already, the CM KCR and other cabinet ministers like Etela Rajender, Jogu Ramanna, Indrakaran Reddy have been ensuring all the necessary measures are taken for the devotees’ safety and comfort at various ghats in Telangana.
Meanwhile in Andhra Pradesh, the Pushkara torch (Pushkara Jyothi) which was lit by the Deputy CM China Rajappa will reach the Koti Lingala Revu in Rajahmundry, after which the Pushkaralu will be inaugurated officially. It was rumoured that the AP government will invite Telangana CM KCR for the Rajahmundry Pushkaralu but no official confirmation has been received yet.
