In a heartbreaking incident, three members of a family from Telangana lost their lives in a fatal car accident in Florida, USA.
The victims have been identified as Pragathi Reddy (35), her six-year-old son Harvin, and her mother-in-law Sunitha (56). The family belonged to Tekulapalli village in Kondurg Mandal, Ranga Reddy district.
According to reports, the tragedy occurred while they were returning home from a weekend trip to Florida on Sunday.
The devastating news was conveyed to Pragathi’s father, Mohan Reddy, by his elder daughter. Mohan Reddy, a former Sarpanch of Tekulapalli, is deeply grief-stricken over the loss of his younger daughter, grandson, and daughter-in-law.
Pragathi had been residing in the United States for the past 13 years. Following the tragic event, the entire village of Tekulapalli is mourning the untimely loss, with relatives and locals offering their condolences.
In response to the tragedy, Mohan Reddy and other family members have made urgent travel arrangements to the USA to bring back the bodies of their loved ones for the final rites in their native village.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, with further details expected to be released upon completion of the official inquiry.
